Dice la última frase de la película "Amelia": “... ¿acaso saben los sueños de imposibles?”.
Existe una primera y fundamental clasificación de los seres humanos:
- Los que mantienen su existencia estacionada en la plataforma de la vida, sin atreverse a poner en marcha el motor de las emociones. En la quieta seguridad de la inactividad, se limitan a mirar y volver a mirar la inerte instrumentación que marca el silencio de su corazón.
- Y aquellos otros que sólo están en parking durante el tiempo justo para abastecerse del combustible que posibilitará su sueño. Son los que mientras ruedan a cabecera acarician con su mirada el cielo, las nubes, la manga indicadora del viento que alimenta su vida. Para ellos, volar es vivir un sueño, aunque ese sueño sea imposible y fruto de otro sueño… simplemente, o sueñan o mueren.
Quizás sea por todo esto, que a veces mientras vuelo, sueño que navego por un mar agitado, imagino que en la proa de mi avión rompen las olas en llamaradas de espuma blanca, una tras otra y sin descanso golpean mi avance, siento como los fuertes vientos levantan barreras de oscuros muros a mi paso... soñar o no soñar, volar o morir.

Quizás ese sea el motivo por el que los dioses, en su afán por jugar con nuestro destino, nos regalan al comienzo de la vida dos cosas, por un lado un lienzo en blanco, y por otro un mágico pincel, el cual queda depositado en lo más profundo de nuestro corazón, en un lugar al que sólo se accede cuando entras en el mundo de los sueños,...
Hace tiempo, una noche, mientras dormía, entré en ese mundo y encontré el pincel que dio color a mi lienzo,... sobrevolaba el lugar donde nací, pequeña ciudad de piedra gris, almas amuralladas en solitarias almenas, calles adoquinadas en oscuro blanco y negro,,,, pilotaba un frágil y pequeño avioncito, cuya estela descendía lentamente sobre los tejados que servían de alfombra a mi vuelo y los cubría de bellos colores,...
Ese fue mi primer y único vuelo en el mundo de los sueños.

Seguramente, ya terminado tu vuelo, comienzas un paseo calle abajo, tus pasos son lentos y despreocupados, caminas sin prisa, admirando los escaparates que se ofrecen a tus sentidos, saboreando una esplendida mañana, quizás de Domingo... aviones parados, tiempo detenido, motores ahora en silencio, ... para tí hoy no existe el tiempo, sólo el momento, sólo el deseo de hacerlo eterno...
Hoy, desde mi gris y lluviosa ventana, te miro y te envidio,... hoy, prisionero de turbulentos vientos y cegadoras nubes, quisiera estar contigo, pero los dioses me han castigado a no volar, a no vivir... yo les rezo, suplico, para que me levanten la condena, les pido perdón por volar como un ave y subir tan alto que a veces rozo sus dominios...

De los mismos vientos bebemos, parecidas tormentas nos alimentan, y a veces, sin rumbo nos dejamos llevar, unos mecidos por suaves olas y otros acompañados por azules cielos.
Y todos mirando adelante, oteando el horizonte, esperando encontrar algún día esa tierra prometida o la estrella solitaria que buscamos sin descanso, la que nos hace avanzar y seguir, esa que nos impulsa a volar o navegar...
Para todos comienza un nuevo año, de nombre 2012, en nuestro día a día de navegación siempre presente un propósito:
Admirar la luz del nuevo día con la ilusión de alguien que pasó la noche entre tinieblas.

Hola Javier, dices en tu blog:
“¡Y se me acabó el volar! En el próximo artículo publicaré el anuncio de venta de mi parte de Pancho, como tenía planeado desde que lo compré, hace cerca de dos años. Lo voy a echar de menos, realmente; pero es que es algo poco compatible con mi vida, especialmente con mi familia… Así que, si cuando los nenes sean mayores, me fuese posible retomar esto de volar, me gustaría hacer vuelo de montaña con un avión similar al Savage, que es bien bonito. Creo que esa idea de ir volando al campo, aterrizar en cualquier sitio, y pasar la noche en una tienda de campaña, por la razón que sea, muchos hombres la tenemos arraigada dentro como algo que vale la pena hacer.”
Te digo que no soy quien para valorar tu decisión respecto a dejar de volar "por un tiempo", pero sí soy quien para decirte que ha sido un auténtico placer haber sido uno de tus instructores, compañero tuyo de algún que otro vuelo y también seguidor en la sombra de tu vida aérea.
El mundo de la aviación, si realmente me apasiona y me atrapa, es porque está formado mayoritariamente por pilotos y gente como tú... gente que desde la mayor humildad posible disfrutan y valoran, en su total medida, ese gran tesoro que es poder volar.
Gracias por enseñarme a intentar ser mejor instructor, piloto y persona.

Erase una vez... // Once upon a time...

Érase una vez un ser humano cuya existencia transcurría entre sueños y realidades. Por su naturaleza vivía obligado a sentir el peso civilizado de la gravedad en todo su cuerpo y era el compromiso responsable el encargado de controlar todos sus actos.
Es verdad que todo ésto sucedía externamente y de cara a los demás, pues en su interior, quizás sin ser muy consciente de ello, en lo más profundo de la cueva de sus sentimientos y a resguardo de la curiosa e inquisitiva sociedad, se mantenía en secreto el más pecaminoso de los sueños... VOLAR.
Poco a poco se fue apoderando de él un movimiento, el que producen los sueños, ese que te empuja de dentro hacia fuera y de abajo hacia arriba, éste movimiento tenía su reflejo en que a cualquier hora de su terrestre vida, siempre que podía, dirigía miradas fugaces al cielo buscando la aparición de sus deseadas nubes,... y cuando ellas, envueltas en sus túnicas blancas, hacían acto de presencia, era tal la seducción que experimentaban sobre él, que sólo deseaba estar algún día junto a ellas.
Después de tantas vicisitudes que contarlas llenarían infinitas páginas, obtuvo la recompensa a su perseverancia sin opción a rendición, y como, a veces, una consecuencia justa y lógica del destino es que los sueños se cumplan... su sueño se cumplió y comenzó a volar.
Llegaron sus primeros encuentros con las damas blancas, durante los cuales pasó de la inicial timidez a la mayor de las osadías, bailó con ellas, acarició sus vaporosos cuerpos, las beso y penetró en ellas buscando el misterio de su naturaleza.
Un vuelo tras otro, incansable, una nube tras otra,… el tiempo terreno pasaba, ellas aparecían, él volaba preso del espejismo y retornaba herida el alma, castigado por el desengaño... pues lo que en realidad buscaba era la nube que nunca encontraba, la hija del cielo, la reina de todas, aquella que le haría estremecerse sólo por estar ante su presencia, ante la cual sus sentimientos estallarían en un inmenso arco iris de felicidad, la que con sólo rozarle gestaría en él el más salvaje de los deseos, la que sería su razón de volar...
Un día, uno más como otros muchos, uno más que te regalan los dioses para vivir o morir, al dirigir su melancólica mirada hacia el cielo,... la vio, sería imposible atrapar en letras y plasmar en una frase escrita lo que sintió, simplemente la vio, era ella, su nube soñada, la hija del cielo, la reina de las hadas blancas.
El momento eternamente esperado, quién sabe durante cuántas vidas, había llegado,… sin más dilación se dispuso a tomar asiento en el alma, poner el corazón a plena potencia y volar directo hacia sus entrañas, sin miedo a turbulencias, vientos, lluvia o rayos,... manteniendo el rumbo y firme la voluntad alimentada por sueños, sin ceder ni un ápice en su deseo de llegar junto a ella.
Lo que sucedió en ese encuentro forma parte de un gran secreto aviador y por ello guardaré silencio. Sólo puedo decir que en ese "cara a cara", él descubrió la razón de porqué un día sintió como una necesidad vital sus ansias de volar.

En tierra seguimos volando, en realidad nunca dejamos de volar, mientras se vive se vuela.
En la parte de nuestra vida que se desarrolla en el suelo, seguimos con nuestro corazón en el aire, y aunque a veces disimulemos nuestra emoción y la escondamos en una conversación teñida de normalidad, el alma sigue volando y ésto origina que las palabras necesiten ser desvestidas de la emoción con la que nacen.
Con los pies en la tierra y sin alejarnos de nuestros aviones, charlamos, hablamos, conversamos,... compartimos la serenidad que nos regala el espiritu que siempre nos acompaña, arriba y abajo, en el cielo y en la tierra, ese espíritu creador del oxígeno que alimenta nuestros sueños.

La luz rojiza del sol ocultándose en el horizonte, es señal indicadora de dos claros y nítidos mensajes para aquellos que tenemos el privilegio de vivir, de tú a tú y sin intermediarios, tan mágico encuentro.
Por un lado un mensaje ortodoxo envíado a nuestra mente racional y profesional, y que nos anuncia el fin de los vuelos de ese día.
Y por otro, un guiño cómplice, heterodoxo y directo al corazón aviador que todos, en mayor o menor medida, poseemos. Se trata de una llamada hipnotizadora que nos pide continuar, seguir, avanzar... para buscar la respuesta a la pregunta que surgió un día cuando empezamos a volar.
Dicho de otro modo, el ocaso pone de manifiesto, una vez más, la dura batalla que se desarrolla en nuestro interior, es la guerra entre el numeroso y disciplinado ejército de la razón y unos cuantos guerrilleros del corazón.
Llegado el momento de asimilar la acostumbrada derrota infringida a los sentimientos por su todopoderoso enemigo, encerrado en la soledad del hangar, mientras una fresca brisa se cuela procedente de la oscuridad, es cuando mirando fijamente al alma de mi avión, susurro en su corazón:

Anoche soñé que vivía en una desvencijada granja, en un lugar perdido y sin nombre, sin vecinos en muchos kms a la redonda, las arrugas de la experiencia poblaban mi rostro y apenas cubrían mi cabeza unos pocos cabellos canosos, por lo que imagino que debía ser eso que llaman un piloto viejo, con muchos recuerdos y añoranzas de un pasado aviador.
Rodeaba la granja una gran llanura de colores ocres, salpicada de pequeños matojos y árboles solitarios que movían sus ligeras ramas al compás del viento, en la lejanía se dibujaban las siluetas de montañas pinceladas de blanco en sus cumbres y siempre vigilando desde lo alto, el inmenso e hipnotizador cielo azul moteado de nubes que variaban sus formas y tamaños. Seducido por el balanceo de la mecedora que me acunaba en el porche, contemplaba lleno de paz el infinito paisaje, mientras mi fiel avioncito descansaba a las puertas del establo que hacía las veces de hangar--taller--corral de animales varios--museo de cachivaches. Coronaba el vetusto edificio a modo de bandera una raída y descolorida manga que en el pasado fue estandarte resplandeciente.
Eran muchos vuelos, historias, peligros, alegrías, anécdotas, viajes, reparaciones y sustos los que habíamos vivido juntos y tenía la sensación de que él me miraba como haría un perro con su amo, pendiente de mis movimientos e intenciones. Seguramente estábamos pensando en lo mismo: ¡¿Qué coño hacemos aquí abajo pudiendo estar allí arriba?¡.
Levantándome con la dificultad propia de los años y especialmente de aquellos que no estamos hechos para andar sino para volar, me dirigí hacía él con las viejas gafas de vuelo y el agrietado cuero en las manos, mi cómplice biplano rebosante de alegría y tras un leve carraspeo dio unas vueltas a su hélice sabedor que en breve estaría allí arriba, en su hábitat natural, en el lugar que corresponde a todo avión que se precie de serlo...
Lo siguiente que recuerdo es el ronroneo del motor, el aire acariciándome la cara y una inmensa felicidad por estar una vez más viviendo mi sueño... simplemente VOLABA.

Por ejemplo, ese despegue mal calculado que nos arrastra, sin posibilidad de vuelta atrás, a la incertidumbre de si rebasaremos o no los árboles que se van acercando con rapidez,... momentos como éste son los que nos abocan a sentir que volamos en algo más que un "amasijo artificialmente organizado de metales", porque es entonces cuando te pedimos y rogamos que hagas un último esfuerzo,... es cuando suplicantes espoleamos tu corazón para salvar el obstáculo.

La gaviota nace en la tierra pero desde sus primeros días de existencia ama el cielo y ama la mar, sus mejores vuelos los tendrá en esa fina linea que separa la mar del cielo, ese lugar dónde se desarrolla el gran misterio, esa frontera en la que la tierra sólo es convidada de piedra, la gaviota vuela allí donde dos pasiones luchan por conquistar la esencia de la vida. El cielo en su frenesí de loco enamorado abraza con sus vientos a la mar, ella en su agitación le besa y ambos se funden en el mayor de los espectáculos jamás contemplado, el del origen de la VIDA.
Es en ese volcán de colores y sentimientos donde vuela la gaviota, y nos asombra con su vuelo preciso y milimétrico al que no afectan en nada las condiciones extremas en que se desarrolla.

Por ejemplo, si la vida es el camino que recorre un cuerpo conducido por un alma, entonces un vuelo sería la navegación que realiza un avión manejado por un piloto.
En un vuelo el avión y el piloto forman un solo ser, siendo el avión la parte material y el piloto la espiritual, el avión el cuerpo y el piloto el alma. También un vuelo, igual que la vida, nace, vive y muere. El avión por sí solo es algo inerte, igual que un cuerpo sin vida. De la misma manera un piloto sin avión es algo inacabado, sin cuerpo...

LA TIERRA:

La inmensa mayoría de los seres humanos sólo conoce la Tierra, por desgracia para ellos el Cielo o no existe o sólo es un sueño. La minoría que tenemos el inmerecido privilegio de volar, además de la Tierra también conocemos el Cielo y por tanto somos sabedores de la diferencia entre el Cielo y la Tierra. Y es seguramente y sin ninguna duda ese conocimiento una de las razones que más nos empuja a volar.
Es la tierra un laberinto de caminos que nos llevan a túneles dónde nuestros sueños quedan atrapados, un áspero lugar dónde sólo queda la espera como existencia.
Es el cielo, infinito y majestuoso, regalo para nuestros sentidos, allá arriba estás a salvo y por momentos te sientes eterno, feliz.
Sin embargo, el Cielo y la Tierra son dos extremos que dan sentido a su propia existencia mediante su necesidad recíproca de ser y estar, son el ying y el yang, el blanco y el negro de la naturaleza humana.
Para los que volamos es la Tierra lo peor de nosotros mismos, ese lado oscuro que tizna de negro el alma y por el contrario el Cielo representaría la bondad del mundo de los sueños.
Por eso:
Cada vuelo es algo único e irrepetible.
Cada vuelo es un suspiro lleno de paz.
Cada vuelo es el mejor vuelo.

Uno de los instantes en los que el corazón y la mente de un piloto confluyen de manera decisiva es durante los momentos previos al comienzo de un vuelo de navegación.
Atrás quedan todos los preparativos teóricos, mapas, rumbos, espacios aéreos, puntos de paso, puntos de no retorno, consumos de combustible, información de aeródromo de destino y alternativos, previsión meteo, en definitiva la confección de un riguroso plan de vuelo, en el que nuestra mente ha cumplido con su labor mientras que nuestro corazón no ha dejado de soñar en ningún momento.
Ha llegado la hora de la verdad, apenas las primeras luces del día apuntan en el horizonte nosotros ya estamos saludando a nuestro fiel amigo, es un ambiente de felicidad y nerviosismo tamizado por los obligatorios procedimientos, el que reina en el hangar en esos momentos mágicos y anteriores al milagro de volar lejos.
Ahí estamos los dos, nosotros y nuestro avión, respirando el nítido aire que muy pronto será nuestro camino.
Ahí estamos los dos, sin testigos ni curiosos que pudieran estropear la liturgia que todos los aviadores han realizado, realizan y realizarán mientras haya sueños que cumplir en los que sea requisito indispensable volar.

Es una mezcla de sensaciones que no se pueden explicar las que se sienten cuando un antiguo alumno te presenta a otras personas con las siguientes palabras: "Os presento a Jesús, él me enseñó a volar".
Para los que pensamos que volar es mucho más que manejar un artefacto mecánico que se eleva por el aire, sería demasiado pretencioso pensar que con nuestra labor de instrucción realmente enseñamos a volar, no somos los poseedores de una varita mágica que obra el milagro de conseguir que cualquier ser humano sea capaz de volar "con mayúsculas", ni tampoco somos dioses que imparten el "don" de volar a diestro y siniestro.
Yo me conformo con intentar transmitir mi pasión por volar a todos los que se han sentado conmigo en un avión y me siento muy feliz cuando ayudo a que un alumno llegue a convertirse en un piloto "fino y seguro".
Pero el climax de mi labor como instructor llega con alumnos como Carlos, él es el vivo ejemplo de lo que todo instructor pretende conseguir con un alumno, me refiero a ser superado en conocimientos, destrezas, aptitudes, actitudes y pasión por aquellos a los que un día mostraste el sueño de volar como algo realizable.
El constatar como Carlos y otros muchos ya vuelan mucho más alto y mejor que yo, me confirma que realmente merece la pena todo lo que hice, lo que hago y lo que haré por seguir siendo instructor de vuelo.

Durante un largo vuelo por nuestra querida península ibérica, fuimos cordialmente acogidos en todos los aeródromos donde hicimos parada, uno de ellos fue el regentado por la gente aviadora de Mérida.

Los campos de vuelo, los aeródromos no sólo son los hangares, las instalaciones, los aviones, ... lo más importante son las personas que en ellos vuelan. Al final la clave de los lugares son siempre las personas.

- Si la razón son los "Factores Humanos", entonces el corazón es la eternidad.

Hace unos días recibí un mensaje que me dejó muy impresionado, se trataba de un mensaje de agradecimiento y felicitación por el blog.
Un mensaje de alguien que vive prácticamente encerrada en una habitación y que tiene como única conexión con el mundo exterior una ventana y la internet.
No quiero extenderme ni recrearme con algo tan íntimo, sólo deciros que sus palabras me confirman de manera brutal lo privilegiado que debo sentirme por tener la vida que tengo y es que cuando vuelo hago lo que otros sólo pueden soñar.
También sus palabras me dejan muy claro que ninguno de los que volamos lo hacemos de una manera tan sublime como ella lo hace en su imaginación. Para mí es un verdadero y sincero placer que el blog te ayude a realizar ese vuelo.
Gracias a ti siempre y perdona por la foto que pongo pero es que jamás existirá una imagen que pueda estar a la altura de tus palabras.

Uno de los momentos clave en la vida aérea de todos los que un día decidimos volar, es el día en el que vuelas por primera vez solo, ese vuelo queda grabado en tu retina aviadora para el resto de tu existencia...
Antonio, al igual que otros muchos que le han precedido y otros que le seguirán, ha realizado su primer vuelo solo.
Sin duda cuando Benito se apeó del avión y le dejo como único ocupante del mismo, Antonio fue consciente de que iba a vivir un momento mágico, lleno de sensaciones que nunca olvidará.
Al final del vuelo se cumplió con el rito aviador de mojar al polluelo, vertiendo un cubo de líquido elemento sobre las bisoñas plumas del feliz alumno.

Javier, de pie segundo por la izquierda, rodeado de amigos y amigas que pensaron en un regalo muy especial y para ello realizaron el acto mágico de convertir un vuelo "virtual" en un vuelo muy "real", el sueño de un niño por fin alcanzado... y es que nunca es tarde para cumplir nuestros sueños.
Si tuvieramos que juzgar el regalo por el grado de alegría y felicidad que causó a nuestro protagonista, podríamos decir sin temor a equivocarnos que fue uno de los mejores recibidos en su vida... por supuesto y como siempre un lujo también para nosotros haber tenido la suerte de compartirlo.
Después, la obligada y grata "visita guiada" por las instalaciones de Mydair y a continuación la degustación por parte del grupo de amigos y amigas de las ricas viandas de la tierra alcarreña.

Volando vengo ...

Impresiones de Jose Ramón Aguilar sobre su curso de navegación.

TEORICA:
Es larga y debería distribuirse en dos días, destaco los puntos más importantes:
- Saber trazar y calcular un plan de vuelo al detalle.
- Saber tomar decisiones correctas en momentos criticos.
- Organizar correctamente toda la documentación a utilizar durante el vuelo.
- Observar atentamente rumbos y referencias durante el vuelo asegurando que estamos en la ruta prevista.
- Estudiar a fondo la previsión de la meteo
PRACTICA:
Durante éste primer intento tuvimos la oportunidad de comprobar algunas de las reglas aprendidas:
- Tomar la decisión correcta de virar 180º con la montaña cubierta de nubes FOEHN, onda de montaña y nubes rotores asociados a la onda que un estudio previo y riguroso de meteo nos habría indicado
- Importancia de tomar bien los rumbos para no desviarnos de la ruta establecida.
- Llevar organizada y a mano la documentación.
Seguro que todas estas experiencias me serviran para volar con más seguridad y eficacia en el próximo intento.
Segundo intento:
Preparamos el avion y salimos a la hora programada. El mapa y plan de vuelo debida y convenientemente doblados. Todo se fue desarrollando de acuerdo a lo establecido. La toma y el despegue bien y regreso a LERM sin mayores dificultades. Esta claro que cuando lo tienes todo estudiado y repasado las cosas salen bien.
1) Si no se está pendiente del mapa, ruta y tiempo te pierdes... seguro.
2) Mapa y Plan a mano y bien doblados.
3)Fundamental comunicarse con claridad en los sitios y momentos adecuados y con la gente adecuada. Ayuda a la seguridad de todos.
4) Ir pendiente y atentos a los tráficos en ruta.
CONCLUSIÓN:
El curso realmente vale la pena no sólo por la formacion intrínseca del mismo sino tambien por la cantidad de cosas que las das por " hechas" y ves que no están tan "hechas" como uno creia.
En definitiva, se aprende y se disfruta.

Oscar hace unos dias estuvo con nosotros junto a compañeros de la UME (Unidad Militar de Emergencias) y como las cosas buenas siempre hay que compartirlas con los tuyos... ahora nos ha visitado con la familia.

Todo lo que en éste blog escribo, ya sean poemas, frases, comentarios o simplemente pensamientos en voz alta, los considero como si fueran mis polluelos, soy consciente que por eso mismo no tengo la eterna y absoluta autoridad sobre ellos, sino que mi función es de alguna manera enseñarles a volar, es decir, los creo, los cuido, los mimo, los alimento, pero sin olvidar que un día emprenderán su propio vuelo,...
Veo con satisfacción como mis palabras aparecen en otros lugares ya sea citando a su creador o no, eso es lo de menos, para mí es un auténtico orgullo que sean tomadas por otros y difundidas en el infinito espacio, eso quiere decir que son palabras que transmiten algo... si no salieran del blog serían palabras muertas, y yo no creo nada para morir sino para que viva eternamente.
Por eso lejos de enfadarme quiero agradecer a todos aquellos que tomáis mis escritos para que vuelen más lejos, incluso aquellos que os apropiais de su paternidad o simplemente no la citais,... daros las gracias porque escribo para que vuelen libres y no para que vivan en una jaula.
Ellos siempre me agradecerán haberles dado la vida y es ese agradecimiento el motor de mi vuelo.

Malnacidos seríamos si después de vivir vuelos de ensueño, vuelos que muchos mortales venderían su alma por rozarlos, al poner nuestro pie en tierra olvidasemos el privilegio con el que hemos sido obsequiados... a veces nos deberíamos preguntar: ¿realmente somos merecedores de éste regalo?
Gracias a la vida por haberme dado el don de volar.

Mientras nuestro Director Benito Baldominos (Beni) lideraba la participación de la escuadrilla Eurostar-Mydair en el VI Festival Aéreo Motril 2011, que por cierto ha sido todo un éxito, en el centro de operaciones de Mydair (LERM, Robledillo de Mohernando) recibíamos la visita del español que más alto ha volado jamás, nos referimos a nuestro compatriota el astronauta Pedro Duque.
Pedro Duque voló por primera vez al espacio el 29 de octubre de 1998 con el transbordador "Discovery",

En ausencia de Beni, fue todo un honor realizar las labores de anfitrión con tan ilustre visitante mostrándole nuestros aviones, instalaciones... en definitiva pasando un tiempo para el recuerdo.

Un claro ejemplo de esa unión entre el avión y el piloto sería Jesús T., al cual vemos en las fotos, él siempre al terminar su vuelo llena de cuidados y mimos a su montura aérea, es algo parecido a un acto de agradecimiento hacia el que ha hecho posible su sueño...
A éstas alturas de la película alguién puede dudar que nuestros aviones son seres vivos?, Insisto en decir una y otra vez que no son sólo máquinas, ellos tienen alma y sienten, .... según tú les cuides así te cuidarán ellos a tí.

En homenaje a mis dos abuelos, en el deseo de que nunca se repita una guerra como la que a ellos les enfrentó.

Ojalá todos los combates hubieran sido como el que escuché narrar a uno de éstos aviadores hace unos años: "Fue como una lucha entre caballeros, entre iguales, en una de las maniobras del combate y por no chocar entre nosotros, nos quedamos volando en paralelo muy juntos, nos veíamos perfectamente las caras... y entonces nos saludamos militarmente y rompimos cada uno hacia un lado en un amplio viraje".

Ideario de sus integrantes: Servicio, perseverancia, disciplina, compañerismo, perfección, humildad, valor, preparación física, abnegación, amor a la vida, espíritu de equipo (palabras que quizás suenen a "chino" hoy día).

Cuando alguien ajeno a nuestro mundillo aviador me hace preguntas del estilo:
- ¿Por qué te gusta volar?
- ¿Por qué eres instructor de vuelo?
- ¿De verdad que te merece la pena?
Es muy difícil dar una respuesta entendible, comprensible y lógica. Pues ésta actividad está íntimamente unida al aire... y no hay nada más difícil de enseñar a los ojos ávidos de materia que algo invisible, el aire no se ve, sólo se siente y es en él donde paso una parte de mi vida.
Quizás la respuesta a las preguntas venga dada por los demás, por aquellos que comparten mis vuelos, especialmente son los alumnos los que hacen que la labor de un instructor sea algo especial y única... pues si volar es ya de por sí increíble y enseñar a volar es doblemente increíble, lograr transmitirlo como la vivencia de un sueño es como crear la "nube perfecta".
Volando con Javier, como con otros muchos más, en su bautismo, durante el curso, la suelta, licencia, vuelos de navegación en distintos aviones y como guinda del pastel el doble mando y suelta en su Coyote recién adquirido con otros cinco amigos, yo también he aprendido.
Correos como el suyo son la respuesta a las preguntas anteriores, os lo copio tal cual:
"Quería haberlo subido como comentario a tu blog pero debes tener desactivados los comentarios:‏
Hoy ha sido el día, el primer día que volé solo mi avión, también el de mis socios. Me has pedido que aterrizase para bajarte. Después de dejarte, como el que deja a la novia en casa para seguir la auténtica fiesta con los amigos, he vuelto a la cabecera de la pista rumbo a las nubes.
No ha sido hasta mi tercer tráfico, cuando desde tierra, ese lugar donde habitualmente te espero a que termines tu vuelo anterior, me has preguntado por la lectura del horómetro a través de la radio y yo sin pisar el PTT, te he dicho:
- Ciento cuarenta y cinco con siete.
Pero al no recibir respuesta he mirado al asiento derecho y no estabas ahí. Habrán sido un par de segundos en los que me he acordado de nuestros primeros vuelo en aquella vieja P92, con la que jugábamos a esquivar los agujeros de la pequeña pista de tierra donde nos conocimos y con la que las lluvias invernales se cebaban, también de mi primer vuelo con aquel caballo de carreras que es el Eurostar, el primer contacto con una pista asfaltada, el vuelo a Segovia con tu avión y otros muchos. En fin, cientos y cientos de aterrizajes, con los que he disfrutado y aprendido a hacer realidad un sueño: VOLAR.

Agradable sorpresa la visita realizada por Javier con su Moragón de nombre "Pancho" a Robledillo... venía de Garray con destino a Casarrubios y respostó en nuestras instalaciones.
Los muchos vuelos del fin de semana sólo me permitieron un hueco para saludar y conversar brevemente con Javier, recuerdos de cuando era alumno y le daba instrucción o de aquellos primeros vuelos posteriores de navegación, ya como piloto, en los que fue adquiriendo la experiencia necesaria para realizar vuelos como el que nos ocupa.

La quinta esencia del vuelo, el profeta de mi religión, cualquiera de sus libros son mi "Biblia", mi "Corán", en ellos convirtió en sentimiento el vuelo, en música el motor, en paraisos los paisajes, ... transformó en algo sublime pilotar un avión, me enseñó que volar es mucho más que elevar del suelo tu cuerpo o infinitamente más que manejar un artefacto con alas.
Aprendí con él que quien realmente vuela es nuestra alma, Antoine el instructor de mis sueños y deseos de libertad,... siempre me acompaña cuando vuelo, ya sea en el cielo o en la tierra, porque en sus palabras comprendí la verdadera verdad de Volar.
Sin él, sólo hubiera sido piloto, nunca jamás me habría llegado a sentir aviador.

En la foto vemos a Loreto de la revista "Avión y Piloto" junto al equipo MYDAIR (Paco, Manuela, Beni, Nicol, Martin y Chema).

Ellos salieron el viernes y llegaron sin novedad, el resto teníamos previsto volar a Igualada el sábado pero la diosa meteo tenía otros planes para nosotros... tuvimos que conformarnos con estar con nuestros compañeros con el pensamiento y deseando que todo les fuera fenomenal, deseo que se cumplió pues Aerosport fue un éxito en general y para Mydair en particular.

Esperemos que en la próxima edición nada impida estar todos juntos en la Feria.

Como bien dice Benito Baldominos (Director de Mydair): "Estimados Amigos, como no podía ser de otra manera este año Mydair S.L. volverá a estar en la Feria que se celebra en Igualada (Barcelona) …AEROSPORT 2011"

Allí podréis ver y volar los famosos Eurostar SL, nos conoceremos en persona y todos juntos disfrutaremos de un fin de semana muy aéreo (6, 7 y 8 de Mayo) con todas las novedades del sector.
En la Feria del 2009 aterrizaron 300 aviones procedentes de la Península y Europa.

Nuestro veterano EC-JRA (anterior avión entrenador de la escuela) no ha podido caer en mejores manos, Chema es uno de los nuevos propietarios que harán que siga volando.
Chema aglutina cualidades que harán que el nuevo binomio avión-piloto sea una relación duradera y feliz, para no abrumar digamos que es buen piloto y buena gente, a quién sino se le iba a ocurrir bautizar al JRA con el nombre de JULIETA... El deletreo de la matrícula sería (EKO, CHARLI, YULIET ( de aquí lo de Julieta), ROMEO (Quizás sea el mismo Chema), ALFA.

Jose María es piloto de velero y se acercó a vernos para saber qué es eso de llevar un motor en el morro y un ventilador dando vueltas (cuando se para los pilotos empezamos a sudar)...

Quedó gratamente sorprendido durante su visita y pudo comprobar de primera mano y en vuelo las prestaciones de nuestro Eurostar SL (EC-LJG) con el aparece posando en la foto.
